PROJECT DIRECTOR

Ben Pengelly brings a significant amount of expertise to the company, bringing over 20 years of know-how in New Zealand. Born in the UK but raised in Auckland, Ben completed his apprenticeship with Carson Electrical who is a leader in their field of mechanical electrical work here and quickly rose through the ranks working on multiple large scale commercial mechanical electrical projects before deciding to strike out on his own with BRP Electrical.

BRP grew quickly, picking up work for Watts & Hughes Construction and growing a reputation for being perfectionists – ideal, as his work on Design & Build school projects demanded a level of precision that’s hard to find in the bigger electrical companies.

Ben is the Project Director at PB & Sons, overseeing our projects and ensuring we deliver on time and on budget.

COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

With over 20 years international and domestic experience, Scott Bennett is our Commercial Director. Electrical work is in the blood, with Scott completing his apprenticeship in the UK under his grandfather, uncle and cousins.

Known as a perfectionist, Scott quickly acquired a vast range of international project work expertise, including working for Louis Vuitton, multiple luxury apartment complexes across Europe, the NATO HQ in Germany and completing various Ministry of Defence contracts around the world.

Bringing his international expertise to New Zealand, Scott worked on the tools for a couple of years before going out on his own, founding Bennett & Fitzgerald. Working with clients including NZ Strong, CMP, Impact and Lanta, Scott quickly developed a reputation for excellence.
