Who we are

With over 40 years of local and international expertise between them, owners Ben Pengelly and Scott Bennett play to each other’s strengths and ensure that no matter what, each job is a top priority. As hands on leaders, you will find them involved in jobs and visible on site, giving sound advice to their team and clients, and sometimes getting on the tools themselves.

Our team are reliable, knowledgeable and ambitious electrical specialists who meet our own high expectations and ensure we provide our clients with a seamless and stress-free experience.

Where we have come from

In 2021, Scott and Ben bit the bullet and decided to merge their existing electrical companies to form Pengelly Bennett & Sons. With a growing team of over 20 they have quickly established a reputation for high-spec work that lands on budget, on time, every time.

Combined, Ben and Scott lead a dynamic team together, playing to each others strengths and ensuring no matter what size, every job matters.

  • We believe in working closely with our clients to understand their needs and ensure that our services meet their expectations. We like to get to know our clients and meet in person as much as possible, especially at the start of working together to make sure the relationships we hold are solid and transparent.

  • We understand that every client is unique and has their own set of electrical requirements. That is why we tailor our services to meet the specific needs of each of our clients. We are really accurate estimators so you can be assured our pricing is reliable, accurate and clear when it comes to exclusions and variations.

  • We work well with other sub-contractors and have our own proven, reliable, relationships with other trades so we can support a project’s success by connecting you with the best provider we know. We offer flexible scheduling to minimise any disruptions to business operations.
